Fiona Kennedy Altoft
Fiona Kennedy Altoft was born and raised in the Queensland country town of Roma, although she now lives and works at the Gold Coast.
Her current work explores the role sport plays as an integral part of the culture of a small town. Childhood memories and other aspects of life in a rural Australian community are explored in her vibrant and powerful canvases. Football, dogs, families and friendships are themes she is currently working with in her raw passionate technique.
Fiona will be mounting a new exhibition in the gallery in March 2009.
