Gail Engel
Gail's sensitively observed renditions of local Queensland environs and scenes in France are a welcome addition to the gallery. Gail spends much of her time in a village in France and resides in Wellington Point for the remainder of the year. Her sensitively rendered works are highly collectable.
Her most recent works are large canvases with a focus on the personality of particular Australian trees and rocks of Girraween National Park. Each work is a true "portrait" rendered tonally to provide not only detail but atmospehric effects.
