Jennifer Redmond
Well known Queensland artist Jennifer Redmond is based in Highvale near Samford.
Her painting celebrates the beauty and diversity of the landscape. . Strong features such as windswept trees, fallen rocks, tree roots and cliffs are painted in her distinctively thick oil impasto technique.
‘I stand, surrounded and protected, hiding from view.
The armour slips, soft beauty in light mist. I am exposed.’
