Sundari Mitchell
Sundari is a young Brisbane based artist creating her own quirky and idiosyncratic style. She has travelled extremely widely and has absorbed influences from the cultures she has visited. She has observed very keenly techniques as widely disparate as the old European masters, New York current cartoon styles and Japanese anime characters. The surreal edge to her work hints at a deep sensibility and empathy with current issues of environmentalism and exploitation.
