Wayne Singleton
Brisbane Printmaker Wayne Singleton has a series of unframed works on paper permanently available for viewing in the gallery folders. This series of works consist of large hand-coloured lino prints based on landscapes around Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
2011 marks the 41st year since Wayne began his training as a stereo cutter (commercial relief block maker) with ACI fibre Packages. Wayne then went on to study art and design and has blended his art training with his craft skills. He has been an exhibiting printmaker since the 1980's. He has works in private and commercial collections in Australia, Europe, Japan and the USA.
He was a finalist in the National Silk Cut Print Awards in Melbourne in 2010.
