"30 Days Hath September...."
A large group exhibition of 30cm x 30cm works, from 31August- 3 October
16 artists - Sandi Abernethy, Robyn Bauer, Stephen Brasch, Cate Collopy, Sandra Conte, Michele Deveze, Noeline Eichhorn, Penelope Gilbert-Ng, Lesley Hawker, Nerida Grace Howland, Nick Leahy, Christine Maudy, Jennifer Redmond, Wayne Singleton, Di West, Karena Wynn-Moylan
* The concept of the show was inspired by the Australian Impressionist Idea of their "cigar box lid" exhibition of very small paintings. All pieces will be of the same small 30cm x 30cm format and will include lino cuts, and paintings in the full range of media from oils to acrylics.
* We will be welcoming Queensland Regional Artists Di West from Maleny, Sandra Conte and Christine Maudy from the Sunshine Coast, Michele Deveze from Townsville, Lesley Hawker from Goondiwndi, and Karena Wynn-Moylan from Bangalow. All have shown in the gallery over the years and we welcome them back for this special show.

Drawing Brisbane - An Artist's Journal by Robyn Bauer will be launched in the gallery. This limited edition book contains hundreds of drawings of all aspects of life in this beautiful city. It embraces both the unusual and the quirky.
This book launch will be accompanied by an exhibition of new paintings and drawings of scenes of Paddington and Red Hill in particular.
